Communication is not just limited to talking and speaking. When we communicate we connect at much deeper levels.

What forms our communication?

1. Verbal Communication: This includes language which forms 7% of our communication.

2. Non-Verbal Communication: This includes voice and tone which forms a considerate 38% of our communication.

3. Body Language: This includes face expressions, hand gestures, etc. which form a proportionate 55% of our communication.

What does the Training Workshop comprise of?


1. Grammar Training: Functional Grammar Topics will be taught. Functional grammar (Unlike theoretical grammar, it eliminates the need to use jargons thus making learning easy moreover the examples used in the exercises are practical conversations used in day to day life).

2. Methodology: In the first five minutes, the Grammar Rule is explained on the board, then the participants are taken thru the same from the afore mentioned book, subsequently the participants solve exercises on that particular Unit. Each participant has to give the correct answer and the other participants are not allowed to prompt. The approach is being "okay" in making mistakes and learn from them and not repeat the same mistake.

3. Tenses and Verbs: The tenses are covered over various Units with exercises. Once all the Tenses are covered
participants are told to by heart Irregular Verb forms (e.g. go,went,gone). Next the "Tenses Chart" is conducted in which all the tenses are covered with Hindi translations so participants can relate to easily. Then a Tenses Game is played in which a participant makes a sentence in Past Simple and the next participant converts that into Past Continuous and so on. At the end of all these activities it brings 100% clarity about English Tenses.

4. Speaking: Each participant is made to speak on a topic upfront. As the participant shares, the trainer points out the mistakes on the spot. The participant is also trained and given a feedback on Body posture, voice level, accent, pronunciation etc. As the participants face the audience and speak, their confidence develops gradually.

5. Performance Evaluation: The performance of the participants are evaluated thrice, at the beginning and at the end of the training.

6. Fluency: The key to fluency is "thinking in English". People who do not speak fluently invariable would think in their mother tongue and then speak in English. As it takes time to translate the mother tongue into English, it cuts down the fluency. Moreover translating into English verbatim does not work always and results in grammatical mistakes.

7. Non-verbal communication: Approaches and techniques for enhancing Non-verbal communication and to speed up improving Spoken English.

8. Business English: Participants are given simple sentences in English and the same are converted into business language. With this participants are encouraged to used better vocabulary and structure the sentence more effectively.

9. Developing Positive and Assertive attitude: Ever wondered why Human Beings are called "Human Beings" and not just Humans. Cats or dogs are not called cat beings and dog beings. The reason is every moment we are Be-ing
someone. Being happy, being sad, being self-expressed and so on. Language is the house of Being. As we learn a new language it brings about a shift in our being. Who we are as a person. Be it any language and English is a Universal language.

10. Presentation skills: In this powerful module participants are trained to follow 7 important parameters when giving a presentation.

11. Voice modulation: Get trained on modulating your voice instead of communicating in the same tonality.

12. Role-plays: One of the most difficult and challenging thing is making the change from the classroom to the "real" world. In the classroom, everyone knows you are a participant and mistakes are allowed, and the environment is safe. Speaking another language outside the classroom is completely different and often participants are lost as soon as they step outside the door. Lists of memorized vocabulary are suddenly useless when ordering in a restaurant.
Role-plays can ease participants transition into using English in real world situations. Students act out a real-life situation, for example checking into at a hotel, but do not act out a different personality. Role-plays are where students take on different personalities. In a role-play, for example, one student may be asked to take on the role of "an angry neighbor" which is out of character for the student.

13. Group Discussion: A GD is a methodology used by an organization to judge whether the candidate has certain
personality traits and/or skills that it desires in its members. In this methodology, the group of candidates is given a topic or a situation, given a few minutes to think about the same, and then asked to discuss the it among themselves for 15-20 minutes.
